Guardian Apps LLC ("we," "us," "our") develops and operates Guardian Apps mobile applications — including Guardian Inspection and DECISIO — along with associated websites and digital services available through the Apple App Store (collectively, the "Services").
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information. It is designed to comply with applicable data-protection laws worldwide, including EU GDPR, UK-GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, LGPD, and other applicable frameworks.

2.3 Location Data
Approximate or precise geolocation is collected only with your explicit, affirmative consent and can be revoked at any time through your device settings.
2.4 Device and Technical Identifiers

- IP address (collected automatically by servers processing your requests)
2.5 Purchase and Subscription Data
In-app purchase and subscription history is processed by the respective app store. We do not receive or store payment card information or bank account details.
2.6 Usage and Diagnostics Data

- Crash logs, error reports, and performance diagnostics
- Session duration and frequency of use
2.7 AI Analysis Data
Text content you voluntarily submit for AI-powered analysis, and AI-generated outputs derived from your submissions. Where a feature involves audio, transcription occurs on-device and only the resulting text is transmitted — audio is never sent to any AI provider.

Artificial Intelligence Processing
5.1 How AI Features Work
Our applications incorporate AI features that generate automated insights from content you submit. When you invoke an AI feature, selected text or other content may be transmitted to our AI service provider, Anthropic, solely for the purpose of producing results for you.
For features that involve audio or voice recordings: transcription occurs entirely on your device using on-device speech recognition. Audio data is never transmitted to Anthropic or any other third party. Only the resulting text transcript is sent for AI analysis.
5.2 AI Accuracy Disclaimer
AI outputs are NOT guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or error-free. AI outputs do NOT constitute professional, legal, safety, medical, engineering, or regulatory advice. AI results may contain biases, hallucinations, omissions, or inaccuracies inherent in machine-learning systems.
5.3 AI Data Retention
Anthropic, our AI service provider, may retain API inputs and outputs for limited periods solely for security monitoring and abuse prevention, in accordance with Anthropic's data policies. Where available, we enable zero-data-retention configurations. We do not use your data to train AI models, and we do not authorize Anthropic to do so.
Voice and Audio Recording
Where our applications include audio recording features, audio is processed entirely on your device. No audio data is uploaded to or stored on any server operated by Guardian Apps LLC or any third party.
You must obtain all required permissions and consents from all individuals being recorded before initiating any recording. You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable recording, wiretapping, and consent laws in your jurisdiction. Audio data is processed solely to provide the functionality you have requested.
Data Storage and Security
- On-Device Storage: App content (including reports, media, meeting records, and audio recordings) is stored on your device under your device's security controls. Audio recordings are not synced to iCloud or any cloud service.
- iCloud Sync: When enabled, non-audio data (such as reports, records, action items, and settings) syncs to your Apple iCloud account, subject to Apple's security and privacy policies
- Data in transit is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS)
- Data at rest uses platform-provided encryption (iOS Data Protection)
No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account credentials.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for monetary or other valuable consideration.
We may share personal data with Apple Inc. (for app-store and iCloud services), Anthropic (limited to text content you submit for AI analysis — no audio is ever transmitted), cloud infrastructure providers, analytics providers (aggregated/de-identified data only), and legal/regulatory authorities when required by law.
International Data Transfers
Your personal data may be processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. Where data is transferred outside the EEA or UK, we rely on European Commission adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), or other appropriate safeguards.

Device Permissions
The App may request access to: Camera, Photo Library, Files, Microphone, Location Services, Notifications, and Bluetooth. Each permission is requested only when the associated feature is accessed and can be revoked at any time in your device settings.
Subscriptions and Billing
- All billing, payment processing, and refunds are handled exclusively by the Apple App Store
- Guardian Apps LLC does not collect, process, or store payment card or bank account information
- Refunds and payment disputes must be directed to Apple directly
- Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID account settings
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (U.S.) or under 16 (EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete such information promptly.
Changes to This Policy
When we make material changes, the updated policy will be posted on our website and within the App, and the "Last Updated" date will be revised. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance, except where additional consent is required by law.
